Hosting and connection data
This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany, using its German hosting infrastructure. When you visit, technical data such as your IP address, request date and time, requested address, response status, transferred data volume, referring page and browser information are processed to deliver the page, resolve errors and protect the service. This serves our legitimate interest in a reliable and secure website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
STRATO states that it retains visitors’ IP addresses for attack detection and prevention for up to seven days. The hosting account also provides access logs with anonymised client addresses for up to six weeks. See STRATO’s hosting privacy information and information about server logs.
Website features and external links
The website code uses no analytics scripts, advertising trackers, cookies or local storage. Fonts and images are served with the website; there are no contact forms, embedded maps or social-media widgets. No automated decisions or profiling are carried out through this website.
Links to other websites open only when you select them. Those providers then process connection data under their own privacy terms; the Wyoming registry, for example, is a service in the United States. Email links open your email application, and do not send a message automatically.
Enquiries
If you contact us, we process the contact details and message you provide to handle and reply to your enquiry. General business correspondence is based on our legitimate interest in communication under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Where necessary for a contract with you or steps you request before entering one, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies. Email delivery and storage involve our email provider, STRATO.
Providing information in an enquiry is voluntary, although we need a reply address and sufficient context to respond. We retain correspondence while it is needed to handle the matter and any follow-up; it is then deleted unless a legal retention duty or the establishment, exercise or defence of a claim requires continued storage. Applicable legal retention duties are based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR. Please send only information relevant to your enquiry.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction and data portability. If processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it for the future. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your particular situation. Contact us using the details above.
You may also complain to a data-protection supervisory authority, including in the country of your residence or workplace. In Berlin, the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information provides complaint information.
